Cut through the golden crust and let the smell of warm, freshly baked bread fill the air. Ciabatta is a great starter for an Italian feast or great side for a caprese salad.

Ingredients

4
cups
All Purpose Flour
2
cups
Warm Water
1
teaspoon
Salt
1/2
tablespoon
Granulated Yeast

Directions

Mix water and yeast in a mixing bowl.
Add flour and salt.
Mix the batter well, using a spoon, starting from the sides of the bowl.
Cover the bowl with cling wrap and leave it to rest for a few hours in a warm place. The batter should double or triple in size.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Spread flour out onto baking paper on top of a baking pan.
Pour your batter on top and its ready to be baked!
Check on your ciabatta in about 25 minutes. Once the top is golden brown and looks good enough to be eaten, you can remove it from the oven and leave it aside to cool for 10 minutes.
