Chocolate Molten Lava Cake

A chocolate winner, these soft, fluffy cakes have a decadent gooey, chocolate lava centre. Throw away the flowers and surprise your loved one with this delicious surprise cooked from the heart.

You better make at least two though, because this is a dessert no-one will want to share!

Cooking Chocolate

Fresh Eggs

Cocoa Powder

teaspoon
Bicarbonate Soda

Castor Sugar

Coffee Oil

Directions

Melt chocolate, sugar and butter over double boiler.
Pour mixture into a mixing bowl and beat at speed 3 till mixture is cooled.
Add in coffee oil and ingredients. Mix in at slow speed till well mixed.
Lastly add in eggs one by one and beat slowly till well combined.
Pour in 8 greased Ramekin bowls and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
Once it’s been baked, wait for about 5 – 10 minutes then take it out.
Serve with ice cream, strawberries and dust icing sugar over generously.
