Cooling Lychee Sorbet

This lychee sorbet recipe is easy to make and extremely tasty! It’s an absolute need in this summer heat.

Simply throw in the fruits that you like into the blender, add some syrup mixture, lime juice, a bit of colouring and blend. After a few hours of freezing, pour the mixture into the ice cream mixer and you will instantly get your ice cream dessert!

Ingredients

Sugar
1/2

Water

Corn Syrup

Lychees
, drained

teaspoon
Lime Juice
1-2
drops of
Red Food Colouring

Directions

Not shown in video: In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water and corn syrup, bring it all to a boil.
Not shown in video: Stir occasionally to help dissolve the sugar and let the mixture boil for 3 or so minutes.
Not shown in video: Take it off the heat and let it cool down.
Place drained lychees, sugar syrup, lime juice, food colouring into a food processor and blend them up till it’s a smoothish mix.
Strain the mixture into a bowl to remove excess pulp.
Not shown in video: Put the bowl into the fridge to chill, leave it in a few hours, or overnight.
Freeze the mixture in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Once ready, scoop it all out into a air tight container, or eat it straight away!
