Crunchy, buttery walnuts are thrown into this decadent dark cocoa brownie to produce that perfect fudge like texture which is then encased in a crust that tastes like your favourite chocolate cake. Look no further because this is heaven.

Vanilla Essence

Directions

Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla essence until well mixed.
Place cocoa powder and SCS butter into mixture and beat until well mixed.
Add flour and baking powder and fold until well mixed.
Add in grated or whole nuts until well combined.
Spread a pitch of butter on the side of a baking tray size 11 x 11 x 1 inch.
Place a baking paper at the bottom of the tray and pour in the mix.
Bake for 20 to 25mins in a 160°C oven.
Once cooked, cut the brownies whilst it's still hot and keep it in an air tight container which will be ready for serving.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and dust with icing sugar.
